The PGPEX-VLM refers to IIMC'S full-time one-year residential Post Graduate Programme in Manufacturing Management. This is comparable in rigor and content to a regular one-year full-time MBA programme offered by MIT-LFM. Each course will have continuous evaluation system based on pedagogy and can include examination, term projects, class interaction etc. Each course will be graded and grade point average will be calculated for each term and full course. The eligibility criteria are: The GMAT is the Graduate Management Admission Test conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) and is a globally recognised test for admission to business schools. Yes, you are eligible. GMAT/GRE score is not mandatory. A Joint Post Graduate Diploma in Management for Executives in Manufacturing will be awarded jointly by IIMC, IITK, and IITM on successful completion of the program subject to compliance of all formalities and terms by the candidate. The batch size is 40 for academic year 2022-23. No family accommodation would be provided. Furnished single/twin sharing basis accommodation would be provided. Each course will have continuous evaluation system based on pedagogy and can include examination, term projects, class interaction etc. Each course will be graded and grade point average will be calculated for each term and full course. Part I consists of analytical ability, Part II verbal abilities and Part III engineering aptitude. There is no prescribed syllabus for the engineering aptitude section of the Written Test. The idea is to test the candidate's ability to apply some fundamental engineering concepts across various disciplines. Yes. Total course Fee of Rs. 13,50,000 lakhs have to be paid in five installments of Rs. 90,000, Rs.6,25,000 (includes Rs. 40,000 as Refundable caution deposit), Rs. 2,92,000, Rs. 2,92,000 & Rs. 90,000 through Payment Gateway (for IIM Calcutta and IIT Madras) and demand draft (for IIT Kanpur) spread over one year duration of the program. The first installment of Rs. 6, 25,000 (includes Rs. 40,000 as Refundable caution deposit) has to be paid within three weeks of selection. You may accept the offer made by remitting a non-refundable admission fee of INR 90,000 within the deadline specified in the offer mail. If the amount has not been paid within the deadline, it will be assumed that the applicant is not interested in joining the programme. No. The admission fee is part of the tuition fees.
