Mrs. Jaya Row is one of the world’s most influential speakers on Indian philosophy, Vedanta. She’s a well-loved spiritual leader whose expositions on Vedanta touch the mind and uplift the intellect. Dr. V. Ananda Reddy established Sri Aurobindo Centre for Advanced Research Trust (SACAR), in 1998 with the purpose and aim of disseminating Sri Aurobindo’s and the Mother’s vision. To fulfill this aim SACAR has designed Online certificate Courses so that they could be made available to all across the world. Dr. Reddy held many classes at SACAR on Essays on the Gita, Savitri, The Synthesis of Yoga, The Life Divine and about 70 workshops on themes related to Sri Aurobindo’s writings. These talks form an audio library at SACAR of about 800 hours. SACAR worked in Partnership with IGNOU from 2008 to 2013 giving courses on Sri Aurobindo Studies offering Certificate, Diploma, MA, MPhil and PhD. At present it holds an MoU with the Hindu University of America and Auro University, Surat. Dr Reddy Published 6 books – Deliberations on the Life Divine (in 5 Vols.) and Four Aspects of Savitri, three books are almost ready to go to the press. Apart from this he has about 12 volumes of Archival work on The Synthesis of Yoga, 2 on Essays on the Gita and 1 on “Integral Yoga in Savitri”. He is editor of two journals: “New Race” and “India on the March”. He also serves a Chairman – Institute of Human Study Hyderabad


Dr. Subhash Sharma is well known in the management education world both in India and abroad. He holds Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, and Ph. D. from the University of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles, USA. He is author of well known books such as Management in New Age: Western Windows Eastern Doors, New Mantras in Corporate Corridors and New Earth Sastra. His writings have been considered as ‘thought provoking contribution’ with ‘quite a few revolutionary points of view’ (Business Standards). He has made significant contributions to institution building as founding member of Women’s Institute for Studies in Development Oriented Management (WISDOM) at Banasthali University, Banasthali, Rajasthan; Founding Director, Indian Institute of Plantation Management, Bangalore; and founding member Indus Business Academy (IBA), Bangalore. He is currently Director, Indus Business Academy, Bangalore. He is also a recipient of excellence, achievement and leadership awards. He was awardwd title of ‘Acdemic Rishi’ by PES University, Bangalore and Life Time Achievement Award by Association of Indian Management Scholars (AIMS) Intenrtaional, Houston.


Shri Michel Danino is a scholar of ancient India and author and editor of several books, in particular the noted The Lost River: On the Trail of the Sarasvati (2010), Indian Culture and India’s Future (2011) and Sri Aurobindo and India’s Rebirth (edited, 2018). He has lectured in many institutions on the foundations and manifestations of Indian civilization and has written numerous papers and articles. Apart from archaeology and ancient history, he has an interest in the history of science and in environmental protection. Since 2011, he has been associated with IIT Gandhinagar, where he has been teaching courses on Indian civilization and culture and assisting its Archaeological Sciences Centre. He is on several government committees in the fields of education and culture, and co-edited (with Prof. Kapil Kapoor) Knowledge Traditions and Practices of India, a course and textbook for the CBSE. In 2017, he was awarded Padma Shri for his contributions to education and culture.


Ms. Rajni Bakshi is a Mumbai-based author, speaker and founder of the online platform ‘Ahimsa Conversations’. Her books include: Bazaars, Conversations and Freedom: for a market culture beyond greed and fear (Penguin, India, 2009 and Greenleaf, UK, 2012), which won two Vodafone-Crossword Awards; Bapu Kuti: Journeys in Rediscovery of Gandhi (Penguin, India, 1998) which inspired the Hindi film Swades; Long Haul: the Bombay Textile Workers Strike 1982-83 (BUILD, India, 1986). Rajni has also written several monographs including: Trusteeship: Business and the economics of well-being (2016); Civilizational Gandhi (2012); An Economics for Well-Being (2007); Let’s Make it Happen: a backgrounder on New Economics (2003); A Warning and an Opportunity: the Dispute over Swami Vivekananda’s Legacy (1994). She is a member of the Executive Committee of the Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Rajni was awarded the Homi Bhabha Fellowship in 2000. From 2013 to 2016 Rajni was the Gandhi Peace Fellow at Gateway House: Indian Council on Global Relations, a Mumbai based foreign policy think tank. She serves on the Boards of Child Rights and You (CRY), Citizens for Peace (CfP) and the Centre of Education and Documentation (CED). Rajni has a BA in Journalism and Political Science from George Washington University and an MA in Philosophy from the University of Rajasthan.


Prof. Peter Ronald deSouza is the DDKosambi Visiting Professor Goa University. He held the following leadership positions: Director, Indian Institute of Advanced Study (IIAS), Rashtrapati Nivas, Shimla, for two terms (2007- 2013) during which he setup the Tagore Centre and the International Centre for Human Development. Prior to this he was Co-Director of the Lokniti Programme of Comparative Democracy at the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS), Delhi (2003-2007) and before this he was Professor and Head, Department of Political Science at Goa University (1996-2003). Prof. deSouza has served as a consultant to: UNESCO (2013-2020), International IDEA, Stockholm on various assignments (1999, 2004, 2005, 2009 and 2012-2017), the UNDP (2005, 2007-08), The World Bank (2003, 2005), Inter Parliamentary Union, Geneva (2005-2006), Ford Foundation (2003) and Social Science Research Council (SSRC), New York (2001). Apart from this her has served on numerous committees and boards.
